Friday, August 16th 5:30-8:30pm Clayroom SoMa, 375 9th Street Description: Want to improve your realistic sculpture skills? Join us for our Intern Anneliese’s member-only workshop. This workshop will provide the initial steps to understanding sculpting human facial structure and proportions with the potential of having these elements be added to wheel thrown work or hand built vessels. Anneliese will cover topics such as human bone structure, sculpting facial features, sculpting solid amounts of clay and then hollowing out, and sculpting hands or other appendages. Bring photos of a person you would like to sculpt and Anneliese will guide you through how! This workshop will include unlimited ecoblend clay and lots of encouraging instruction.
