Beginner 6 Week Intro to Wheel Throwing

Mondays @ 6:30 - 9pm, September 23rd - October 28th Tuesdays @ 6:30 - 9pm, September 24th - October 29th Wednesdays @ 6:30-9pm, September 25th - October 30th Thursdays @ 6:30 - 9pm, September 19th - October 24th Saturdays @ 10:30 am - 1pm, September 21st - October 28th Sundays @ 1:30 pm - 4pm, September 22nd - October 27th A great starting place for an intense 6-week course where students are introduced to throwing on the wheel, trimming work, surface design techniques, glazing, and a week of hand-building that can be used to incorporate into wheelwork or on its own. Week 1- Ceramic Studio Etiquette and Safety, Intro to throwing Week 2- Trimming Week 3- Surface Design & Glazing Week 4-Hand-building Techniques Week 5- Workday, Demos as needed Week 6-Glaze Fest Note: Prior experience is not a prerequisite All-inclusive including: - 25lbs of clay -6-weeks of 2.5 hours of instruction - Unlimited use of studio during open studio hours - Firing fees - Glazes
